Hotfire - The Moment EP (Out Now)
Hotfire is back on Night Bass with his hefty 5-track release, ‘The Moment’ EP. The title track delivers a UK influenced bassline to a 4/4 dance beat that drops you into the low-swinging bassline of the dark & moody ‘Crooks’. The mesmerizing vocal samples set the scene for ‘All Day’, before rolling into crunchy, shape-shifting breakdowns. With a foundation set in heavy, textured bass sounds, ‘Backstage’ gives way to ominous breakbeats coupled with a massive garage-influenced bass drop. Hotfire strongly rounds off the release with club-ready, head knockin’ sounds of ‘Tell It’.

Lowdown - Ghetto Poetry (Out Now)
Hailing from Australia, Lowdown returns to Night Bass after his smashing debut on This Is Night Bass Vol 9. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ is his first EP release on Night Bass and it’s a hefty blend of savage basslines, low-end frequencies and underground House sounds. Lowdown hits full throttle with ‘Eastside’, giving way to unique snare placements and heavy swells of midtempo bass, driving straight into the quirky groove of ‘Pro Wrestler’, an impressive collaboration with SLATIN. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ comes in hot with a low-end pressure 4/4 beat followed by aggressive, UK-infused bassline madness. To round off the EP, Lowdown calls upon Qlank for ‘Go’, a bass-heavy production with twisted programming decorated with commanding vocals and peculiar intricacies.

Kendoll - Fall Back EP (Out Now)
Equipped with a compelling talent and an originality in her blueprint, Kendoll blesses Night Bass with the distinctive ‘Fall Back’ EP. Kendoll’s dynamic sound fires up title track collab with AC Slater, where archetypal cuts of old-school bass harken back to the classic UK sound alongside gassed-up vocals from Sophiegrophy over a landscape of contemporary padlines. The savage bassline in ‘Wasted Again’ rips through dissonant melodies and animated synthwork, bringing in a rugged edge that carries through to the precipitous ‘Never Sleep’, concluding the EP with vocals from Dread MC over a breakdown adorned with computerized intricacies and subtle harmonies.
NOY & Jordan Burns - Like Me (Out Now)
Australian legends of the bass-house scene, Jordan Burns & NOY, team up to bring Night Bass a menacing, 3-tracker release titled the ‘Like Me’ EP. Ominously-flavored title track ‘Like Me’ builds up haunting vocals and fuzzy synths before descending into a multitude of expertly-programmed, driving bassline drops. A sense of journey arises through the myriad of layers presented in ‘Movin’, whose deeply-grooved bassline and incoherent vocals move systematically through mischievous padlines, high-energy buildups and filthy bass drops, all before transcending into a refreshingly sweet breakdown. The mid-tempo swagger of the dark and twisted ‘None Of It’s Real’ gives way to juicy synthwork and frantic bass-house rhythms that round off this perfectly sinister package.
Petey Clicks - Petey's Clique EP
Our beloved Petey Clicks brings Night Bass his ‘Petey’s Clique’ EP. Distilled from the collaborative support of peers and friends from the likes of Qlank, Blossom, MNNR, Promnite & Hotfire, ‘Petey’s Clique’ is a total, club-ready package. The ominous groove and synchopated bassline in ‘Advice’ with Qlank kick off the EP and melt seamlessly into the hypnotic synth work of Blossom collab, ‘Overdrive’, a bubbly techno crossover with a driving bassline drop. A bit of 2-step with a touch of bass & breaks combine into the collaborative ‘Don’t Wanna’ with MNNR, whose frantic buildup and crunchy breakdown propels you into Promnite collab, ‘2 Moons’, a UK-influenced, underground-flavored banger with some hints of old school. Petey teams up with fellow Night Bass veteran Hotfire for this final track, ‘Universe’, where modern touches revitalize a mind-melting wobbly house beat, strongly rounding off the EP.
Jack Beats & Qlank - Paradise EP (Out Now)
UK house music virtuoso Jack Beats & rising star Qlank are constantly raising the bar to new heights so it’s no wonder that they’ve teamed up for the ‘Paradise’ EP. The duo kicks off the release with ‘Higher’, a percussive extravaganza that bounces through uncanny territory and into a heavy, textured bassline. ‘Hold It’ takes the EP for a darker turn, whose indistinct vocal samples lend to a haunting breakbeat buildup that cascades into a menacing, pounding bass drop. The release is rounded off by ‘Feel’, a moody groover featuring emotionally-charged vocals from Quinn that shapeshift into a UKG-tinged breakdown. A unique brand of house homogenizes when Jack Beats’ signature dark motif and melodic synthwork merges with Qlank’s clean, bass-heavy production style and we aren’t mad about it.

House don Jay Robinson continues to reign supreme with his 10th solo release on Night Bass (yes, 10!!). This time around he brings us the “Control” EP. Title track “Control” drips anticipation as it leads up to a bass drop synonymous with the Jay Robinson sound while hypnotic vocal samples transcend you into the deep, driving bassline of “Aeber’s Reckoning,” ending the EP on a bass-rumbling note.
Qlank - Alien EP (Out Now)
Just when you thought Qlank’s “Dimensions” EP was stellar enough, he comes in hot with the extraterrestrial 4-tracker “Alien” EP. The title track is a bass-heavy, unidentified flying object starring Qlank’s classic midtempo sound followed by an out-of-this-world bassline with jagged teeth that tear right into Dread MC’s high-energy vocals over g-house slapper, “Ain’t For Luck.” The next track, “Ohh” is peak-time rave artillery, leading into the vicious bassline of “Issues” to round off the package.
