This Birmingham bassline maven brings the bass on smashing title track ‘Hollywood’. ‘So Good’ switches up the mood with a groovy UKG beat that rolls into the next track ‘Sweet ‘n’ Sour’, a serious weapon with a wobbly bass drop. ‘Vibesy’ rounds off the EP with all the UK Garage vibes.

We’ve had our eyes on this guy for a while. Qlank came to Night Bass first on Freshmen Vol 2 & hits us now with his ‘Dimensions’ EP. LA-Based Qlank defies all odds & carries the beat seamlessly, juxtaposing trance-like rhythms against the deep, bass-heavy drop on “I Got”. The anticipation builds on ‘Dimensions’, showcasing a suspenseful intro that leads into a drop that sends you to another dimension. The EP ends on a smashing note with another bass-heavy beat & catchy vocals in ’Keep It Down’ collab with Madly. Our Russian brothers, Phlegmatic Dogs & Volac come together for a smashing collaboration, the ‘Russian Style Compilation’ EP . Volac’s remix of Cuatrocats tests expectations while maintaining that signature Phlegmatic Dogs bassline. The 4x4 beat in his collaboration with Shift K3y ‘Lil Mama” carries this vibe through the EP, leading into UK bass-tinged ‘Turn It Up’ to round off the EP.
