Taiki Nulight’s musical output indicates that he might be part man, part machine. Whether or not that’s true, all we know is we absolutely love his new “Broken Ribs” EP. The four-tracker shows that Taiki’s sound is evolving and expanding these days with less obvious bangers and clean, crisp production. The title track takes a more traditional Taiki Nulight approach, while his collaborations with Inkline and Stranger along with “U Know” offer a refreshing, more stripped-down version of his style.

Petey Clicks - Club Heads EP (Out Now)
Petey Clicks is one of the most original artists out there today, pushing his sound further and further into pure originality with each release. His 5th solo Night Bass EP opens with a one-two punch starting off on “Parred”, the incredibly frantic and high-energy peak time smasher, followed by the equally powerful “Bass n Tweeters”. Third on the EP is the title track “Club Heads”, filled with call and response bassline madness. And rounding out the EP is “Paid”, which steps into techno crossover territory with it’s loopy riff and bass-heavy kick drum.
Shift K3Y - Bite EP (Out Now)
When it comes to musical talent, it doesn’t get much better than Shift K3Y. The UK chart topper drops his first EP on Night Bass. The title track “Bite” starts off with Shift K3Y’s trademark melodic vocal work and drops into a seriously heavy bassline (just wait for that 3rd drop!). Next is “Cowbell”, a frantic techy bass house number. And rounding off the EP is the garage-tinged “Don’t Look Back” featuring more incredible vocals from the man himself.
Jay Robinson - The Return EP (Out Now)
The prolific Jay Robinson is back with his 5th Night Bass EP, a next level four-tracker that pushes his sound forward. “The Return” kicks off with the title track, a chunky uplifting bass house stomper. Jay gets help from Bristol badman Dread MC on the heavy bass driven song “The Ripper”. The quirky and techy “Falling Upwards” brings a nice dark edge, and “The Melodic Weapon” rounds out the EP on an uplifting note.
